Operating Guide

Read the complete instructions and safety information
supplied with the Quick 220® Power Supply before use.

Step 1

Check 110/120 volt outlet with the tester supplied with Quick 220® Power Supply to make sure the outlet is wired correctly and does not have a ground fault interrupter in the circuit.

Step 2

Plug one of the Quick 220® Power Supply's cords into a 110/120 volt outlet.

Step 3

Plug the other power cord into a different outlet, using an extension cord of appropriate length. The two outlets will probably be farther from each other than shown in the picture.

Step 4

The amber lamp on the front cover will light when connection is made to an outlet on an ndependent circuit. If the lamp doesn't light, try different outlets until it does. (Technically, an independent circuit is one that is 180 degrees out of phase with the first. In practice, Quick 220® systems automatically test for this. No special knowledge or action is required by the user.)

Step 5

Plug equipment into the 220/240 volt outlet on Quick 220® system and begin use.

Safety Note

Although extension cords shown in the pictures are coiled for clarity, extension cords in use should not be coiled to prevent heat build up.
